About Course
Patient Safety and Quality Care
The Patient Safety and Quality Care course will provide a comprehensive understanding of patient safety and its fundamentals while shedding light on the most common worldwide problems and mistakes relating to patient safety. This course also discusses the importance of the critical components comprising a safety culture, explains the impact of human factors on safety, provides information on the importance of teamwork and communication, explores the root causes for patient safety related mistakes and their aftermath, and discusses universal protocols to implement patient safety.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

- Summarize and examine the global burden of unsafe medical care and its adverse effects.
