Description

This course enhances core skills and competencies of all diabetes healthcare professionals to enable effective and efficient management of people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and other type of diabetes.  The course covers the latest developments in diabetes management and how to fine-tune your patient’s treatment plans based on their individual situation.

At the end of this course, the participants should be able to:

• Describe and demonstrate the best treatment option for the patient, confidently initiate it, adjust, and manage insulin regimes, and screen for diabetic complications with total ease.
• Ensure patients have the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to successfully manage their diabetes.
• Recognize the prevalence of diabetes mellitus.
